Reg ompletes a program in Avionics
During this period, Reggie attended New Brunswick Community College in Moncton, New Brunswick, to pursue his dream of working in the airline industry by taking a program in aircraft electronics (i.e. avionics). He graduated #2 in his class with honors. His overall grades were as follows:
Term 1: Sept. 6, 1988 to Dec. 7, 1988. Average 87.8 Rank: 2/24
Term 2: Dec. 12, 1988 to Mar. 21, 1989 Average 86.5 Rank: 2/23
Term 3: March 28, 1989 to June 21, 1989 Average 80.7 Rank: 4/27
Term 4: Sept. 5, 1989 to Dec. 6, 1989 Average 84.0
Term 5: Dec. 11, 1989 to March 21, 1990 Average 78.0
Term 6: Mar. 26, 1990 to June 22, 1990 Average 72.2
Reggie looked very hard for a job in Avionics and contacted just about every airline and service company in the industry. He worked for brief periods in the industry, but his conviction and criminal record prevented him from obtaining and securing long-term employment. He kept dozens of his application letters for these positions and really did try to work in this profession.
